How do i stay really tan w/o ruining my skin's health?
i've been tanning for 2 years now and have noticed some changes on my skin… i used to have 2 or 3 "beauty marks" (like large freckles, no bump) on me but after tanning ive noticed more and more showing up and old ones have gotten a bit bigger. i dont like beauty marks and dont want anymore! also i dont want them to turn to moles or skin cancer! and im sorta scared to get into spray tanning b/c im scared ill be a fake orange color or smell funny. real tanning gets you that pretty, real, brown/tan color. idk what to do… i feel a lot prettier tan than white. in my opinion i look ugly/gross white and hate it. what should i do? anyone who's spray tanned before think its a good option?

i understand that being tan makes you look better but by the time you are 40 you will have rinkles and look really bad and spray tanning does look good if you know how to do it hope that helps!
I'm so sorry that you have been brainwashed into thinking that looking tan is "healthy" — it isn't. The longer you continue to tan using radiation-based methods (including tanning beds, tanning booths, and old-fashioned laying out in the sun), the higher your risk of skin cancer goes.If you REALLY NEED to be tan, consult with salons that provide airbrush tanning.
Your skin is already damaged, so stop the tanning now. The more you do it, the less healthy your skin will be. You CAN'T tan without harming your skin's health. You won't know how spray tanning will look until you try it. And by the way, being tan all year round looks quite silly anyway. A perpetual tan is very last year.
You don't. Also, if you're pale enough to get freckles, then you're in the higher risk group for skin cancer. My entire family is extremely pale and my father died of skin cancer at the age of 56. My brother is only 44 and he's already had 2 spots of skin cancer removed. I'd suggest using spray only and keeping yourself in sunscreen lotion. According to a medical report I read, 90% of the cause of skin cancer was done to the person before the age of 21. So tanning young can cause cancer at age 50, even if you stopped doing it for decades leading up to 50.
