How do I become a Young Women?
Im a 15 year old Kosovan girl living in London. I've been finding the past couple of months of my life a bit off a struggle emotionally because there's so much going on in my life at the moment that I think everything is going to pass me in a flash.
Im doing my GCSE's at the moment , and I'm expected good grades.
The thing that is bothering me at the moment is becoming a young women. Just to give you an idea of what I look like. I'm 5ft5 (164cm) , dark tanned skin , curly shoulder length hair , pleasent face and slim/average weight (63kg).
I've started my period and have started going through all the physical stages of growing up , but I am still very unsure about everything thats going on.
A few months back I became very inspired by Brooke Shields during her teenage years 13-18, she was an absolute beauty and she had such a presense around her. Basically , I watched most of her movies and her video interviews on Youtube.
Something that I realised in everything I saw was that she was so mature , she had so much poise , and when she walked into a room its like a bright light just shined through.
I know I have the capability of maturing to be just like her. I want to be a young woman that people look up to , I would love to attract some peoples attention in a good way , so people can smile when I walk down the corridor , that sought of thing.
Can you help me ?
Im just looking for some tips. I can't even explain what Im looking for , but if you understood what I've written , maybe you can help me.
Sorry i feel so stupid for asking for peoples help on the internet , but I just want to grow up to be realy delightful and nice and lively .

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You should always be considerate and kind. Not like a doormat…stand up for yourself, but learn ways of communicating, without using cuss words [I think one of the most unladylike things there is].Learn posture, poise and good hygiene skills.Be yourself…don't mirror someone else. That person already exists, and so do you=)
Glad your thinking http://www.EnlightenedWomen.org. This past week I witnessed the beautiful joy and keen minds of NeW members firsthand. I spoke at King's College in the heart of New York City and was delighted to find smart, feminine, happy college women who celebrate the uniqueness and strength of their gender – and also admire and value men and chivalry. These young women reflect the same grace that I found in Miss Agness and NeW Executive Director Holly Carter, whom I met several years ago, who are just the type of role models of femininity and intellect that young women need.
You sound very intelligent and completely on the right track as far as I can tell from what you have written and the way you have written it.Seems to me you would make a very good writer ….I would veer away from the *fame* thing that seems so popular in today's youth culture but what I did enjoy was doing a degree in Performing Arts when I left school.Creative/Performance Arts may be a great way for you to hone some talents and have fun while doing it.Just a thought.Good luck – you sound like you are a sensible gal with a good head on your shoulders.
