Undecided Question

I've been with my bf for almost nine months. I discovered a growth 'down there' a couple months ago and told him about it. I had no idea what it was at the time, it was really small and kind of hidden away amongst these folds and looked like a skin tag. Well, the thing got bigger so I went to the gyno and yup, you guessed it – HPV. I told my bf and now he is really upset, he says he loves me but doesnt know what to do and if he can have things be the same.

I'm pretty sure I didn't get it from my bf…the last guy I was seeing was a total player and probably had sex with hundreds of girls…gross. We used a condom but little good that did me.

So…how did your significant other react when you told them you were diagnosed with an *incurable* std? Did they leave you? Did they need time to think? Did they know without a doubt that they didn't care? I'm so scared that I will lose him over this…it will be very sad for me.
