   Personally, I would buy a second car and arrange the insurance through a local agent. That way you will be able to pick the cover which best suits your parents requirements. Ensure your parents bring their driving licences and insurance documents (to prove they have cover in their home country)

   Could you get the insurance and car in your name and then add them to the policy as additional drivers, it may be cheaper as well to take it out with your insurance company it might bring your own down also.

   unfortunately they will pay more for 6 months than 12 months,wherever they are staying they just get insured for the year then after six months cancel,

   Can only ask insurer companies. Or hire a car with insurance included, Probably get a good deal for 6 months hire.

   just take out the insurance and pay monthly…most company do it…after 6 months just cancel the policy.
