   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters I am exactly the same as you!I'm pretty lucky, with a lot a persuading I can get pretty much anything I want and I'm told I'm quite pretty. When people tell me this I feel amazing, like I' walking on the moon but then, well it hits the ground like an atomic bomb :SYou're lucky that you can move, I have to stay where I am which isn't so delightful :/haha I'm kind of turning this answer into all about me but, I'm not like the school loser. People LIKE me. Lots of people tell me they love me but I barely have a social life, I barely see anyone outside of school and if I am lucky enough to see someone it's because their bestfriend is away.I can't really help you that much, I mean I'm not so experienced but I answered your question to let you know that you're not alone So badly I want a best friend and a group of friends, who I can go out with and have fun with! Making friends takes a great deal of self confidence. When you go to your new school, you should eye up who you want to be friends with. Once you know the group you want to be in, you should be a bit nosey, and try and find out their general interests. Are the party animals, bookworms, athletic superheros or nerds? Try your best to fit in. You know how you said you're really nice? You have to make sure people know that. Don't try too hard (like offering to tie up peoples shoe laces), thats just bloody annoying, but if someone drops their stuff for example, don't ask if they want help just do it. From here you might be able to get a conversation going. Try not to be too shy- be approachable, but don't be too loud. People hate new people that think their all that.Sorry if I wasn't too much help but I have one piece of vital adive for you, If only I knew this 3 years ago…Even if you don't get into the group or become friends with the people you wanted, take whatever best friends you can get, no matter who they are. three years ago, I left my best friend at the time because I was sick of her and I thought I could do better.    get to know people that like the same things as you do. ask them to come over one day or to them mall. try out different people too. and if one person can't come over or something like that move on to someone else. Source(s): myself

   TALK! Talk and smile and laugh. Talk and smile and laugh. Ask people questions, act excited to see people. Just make other people feel happy around you, and they will want to be your friend.

   Take the first step invite them over to parties make some jokes have some fun, invite them to the mall go see a movie stuff that girls like to do.
