How, as a man, should I care for my skin?
A friend of mine told me that I have a lot of blackheads on my face. It looks (to me) like just very open pores. They are especially noticeable around my t-zone. I also have a bit of the same thing on my upper arms and back. Same friend also said that on my arms and back I have ingrown hairs. I don't really see what I thought was ingrown hair, a red spot with a tip of hair. Apparently they are just deep down and I have pores that are clogged deep down too, same as on my face.
What am I supposed to be doing to take care of my skin properly as a man?
What can I/should I do about the skin on my back/arms and face?

Ten points for you for thinking about this while there's still hope!I see so many guys in their mid or late 30's who never took care of their skin and would be so much more attractive at that age if they did!So first what you want to do is go see a dermatologist for the blackheads. You should also use moisturizer and most importantly, sunscreen! (unless you live in the UK because the UV levels there are usually just right for light skinned people) Apply sunscreen that's at least SPF 35 15 minutes before going outside and every two hours.
Go to a dermatologist. He or she will explain to you what is the cause of each kind of break out. THere are different treatments depending upon what it is and waht is the cause. Puberty is hard on skin. The hormones can be very destructive and make a teenager very self conscious and feel powerless. It sounds to me like you are doing everything else right as far as keeping yourself clean and smelling nice. Good luck with this. It can be quite challenging.
WellAs a manly man.i usually use a rusty SOS pad in the shower with nothing but cold water while i'm doing pull ups and squats.then i'll use scalding hot water aimed at my butt to finish off while i do push ups in the tub. After i climb out and dry myself off with sandpaper i usually splash on a little High Karate Source(s): I'm a man
There's no right or wrong way, really.I've heard benzoyl peroxide soap works well for acne, also washes containing salicylic acid. You could always visit a dermatologist. They are used to dealing with acne, and technically everyone should get checkups frequently anyway, for melanomas, etc.
First step, WASH IT. LOL.
Use the Aloe Vera gel, drink at least 4 onzes two times a day.
