Ho to i make my skin look *slightly* darker?

maybe not even daker..just…glowy..heres it now:

when i was young, i was wayyy tan..now i cant get a an to save my life. i just get burnt now. im afraid if i ry to lay out, ill gt burnt. but i wan to be a littl darker because i think itsnot pretty, my skin now.

also, im going on a cruise to the caribian (sp?) in 3 weeks, i would like not to burn..any tips? THANKS!!
