   Haha im the same way, I LOVE make up spend A LOT of money on it I'm 13 and i started wearing make up a few months ago when i was 12, I don't think your dad should really care if you wear bright make up and stuff on the weekends while your at home, because your not going to school or anything, it doesn't really matter then.As for school, as long as your not over doing it, then it doesn't really matter there, either. I have a few family members that don't like how I wear make up, they think im too young, but as long as my parent[s] are okay with it, it doesn't really matter what other people think. Just tell your dad that you like wearing make up, and that your not going to wait until your 18. Talk to your mom about it, maybe she'll talk to him. Tell your dad that he should be happy that you like wearing make up, it means that your just being a girl ;DIf you like funky make up, look on sephora, a brand called 'Make up forever', its a little expensive, but they sell some pretty cool eyeshadow colors Source(s): I have a tons of make up…everything from neon eyeshadow to blue lipstick XD

   Well makeup can ruin your skin if you don't wash it off properly.But the point is, get together with your mom and dad. Try to reason with him. Waiting until you're 18 to wear some mascara is literally impossible with your passion or whatever.Maybe show him how you put it on, and how natural you can make it.Do a neutral look and show him.

   show him you can wear makeup that looks natural. (or wear no makeup and tell him you're wearing tons, that probably won't work but hey)or get a makeup like bare minerals that's all natural and good for your skin.I absolutely love bare minerals, it looks natural and is good for your skin.good luck!

   gurl. i love make up too, i cant go a day without it. but i kinda agree with your dad. i mean try to work something out where once or twice a week you only where mascara or you just go with face [ no eye make up] then slowly start wearing make up. remember, make up is to make you look better but not notice it [: good luck

   Hi maybe try to explain to him that you are only practising, you want to look your best & dont want to look like a clown when you are older!!!, wearing mineral make is best for your skin & you should always cleanse, tone & moisturise daily – this is really important.You could try to tone the colour down when your dad is around – this may help him to adjust to the brighter as time goes on! I was the same at your age & it is fun, just remember it is hard for your dad to see you grow up! tell him that it is important to you & why you really don't want to wait til your 18! you dont wear it to school which is good & remember to start & end the chat in an even tone of voice – this will show him you are respecting him as well as mature enough to discuss things with him x Source(s): Beauty therapist 12 years & counting
