Has anyone with the same skin type found the right face wash?
My skin is sensitive, and it can be oily or dry, depending on the day. If I find a face wash that takes care of the dirt & oil, it dries and irritates my skin. However, if I use a gentle product that does not irritate me, the dirt and oil are left behind and cause breakouts. I have never found a face wash that is just right. Does anyone know of a good face wash or skin care regimen that would help with these issues?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Right now I'm using the Acnefree sensitive skin kit, but a long time ago I used to use clean and clear morning burst facial cleanser with bursting beads and I don't recall it drying out my face. I think when I stopped using it is when I started breaking out. But I use Acnefree green tea moisturizer right now and it works soooooo good for dry skin and it doesn't leave it oily at all.
I use Purity made Simple by Philosiphy. It smells really nice and not like normal washes, its very unique and fresh. It also doubles as a make up remover. After you use it you can feel that your face is clean and your pores kind of almost tighten, but in a good way, haha. It really helps clear and prevent breakouts. One wash not to use is Clean and Clear, I made my face look red and irritated, like a sun burn. It hurt really bad and I had to ice my face. It made me so dry I have to compulsively apply moisturizer for a week.
i have the same type of skin and the only thing that seems to work for me is to alternate using a moisturizing skin cleanser ( i use cetaphil) at night to take off makeup, then in the mornings use a facewash that gets rid of dirt and oil. I also use st ives apricot scrub a few times a week to exfoliate, and i use olay sensitive skin lotion its really light and not heavy
I use Clean & Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser for sensitive skin. It smells nice and I notice that it's not as harsh as others I've used. It also takes off makeup and oil pretty well. As for moisturizer, I use Alba aloe & green tea oil free hypo-allergenic moisturizer. It's super light yet moisturizing and feels amazing when you put it on.
i get what you mean, right now im using cetafile with the scrublet you get with loreal 360 clean, ha! and my face gets dry after than, so i'll put a mixture of oatmeal and water on my face for like 10 minutes, and it gets rid of most of the dryness, than i put on a aveeno daily moisterizer with sunblock. (your skin will thank you for the sunblock)
i have that skin type & i finally gave in & just bought proactiv & it works beautifully.
I have Skin ID where you pick everything and how bad your acne is.
