Had an answer deleted, repealed it, but YA sided with them… i dont get it.?
Question Details: Advice on self piercing a monroe and belly button? ok, so me and my friend are doing self piercings..we bought belly rings and monroe rings today and needles. the rings are both 16g and we only have 1 14g needle, and a 16g one. my friend cant get the needle to go all the way through her belly button, and is having major difficulties lol. i want to know if i can use a 16g for my monroe and advice on how to do it as pain free as possible. please dont say "oh thats so stupid" because yeah we know the risks. thanks (: yeah i know this doesn't belong on mental health but..its like a dead zone on skin care. thanks (:
I explained that it's not a good idea to self pierce those parts. Because of the high risk of infections, scar tissue, and pain. I said that they should just spend the $25 and get it done right, so they don't mess up their bodies. And that it requires certain tools and sanitation to pierce correctly.
It wasn't what they wanted to hear, so they reported it as harassing. So I figured I could get it fixed out. Nope Yahoo sided with them! I was trying to prevent these girls from hurting themselves! How is that harassment?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You have made a grim discovery: yahoo cares not for justice.Your answer was well reasoned and a fine reply, but some hard-nosed appeal member saw something that wasn't there and sided with the asker.sorry about that, but things get rough around here
Yahoo walks on eggshells. I had an answer deleted because I had the word "looser" in it. Sometime, Yahoo can be too super sensitive. You know what, you have the question up here now, does anyone have an answer for it? Also, if this question remains on the site, then Yahoo would seem a little hypocritical, wouldn't they? Good luck! Don't let Yahoo's judgement stop you from asking more questions.
You broke a rule. If you post a response, it must attempt to answer the question being asked. If you give someone advice (without answering their exact question), you crossed the line into "chat". Yahoo does not want Answers to be used as a chat room. You could argue that you had no intention of chatting. You were trying to save someone a trip to the Emergency Room.
You gave a very good answer, but it was just not an answer to the question posed. The asker was wanting information on how to do it themselves and no matter how dumb that would be, you had to supply an answer to that question. Since you didn't, they reported you for not supplying an answer to the question posed. That is a violation. Those are the rules.I don't think this was a troll, but they use the same technique. They ask a question like "Where do I get an abortion in Dallas?" Many people will answer "don't do it" and all will be violations, because they do not actually answer the question.
