Gay make overrrrrrrrr?
Okay, so I'm gay. I'm VERY feminine. You know how people say gays have an amazing sense of fashion? I seriously think my sense of fashion is broken…along with my gaydar. ANYWAY!! I come from a poor home and I can't afford to buy the things I'd like. I don't even know what I like! All I know is I want an attractive, sophisticated but feminine look…for a guy. Sophisticated around my age level…I'm 17. 18 in March. Oh yeah. I mean the "guy" clothes I normally get have got to go! South pole? Um, ew.
Anyway, I need some SERIOUS fashion types. On everything. whether it be clothes, hair, accessories, and skin care. I want to know it allllllll. lol. Any help?
Btw, I'm "plus size" so take that into consideration. i'm not ashamed of my size. which is why i want to look good. Big is beautiful.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Hmm. If you were a plus size girl I would have a million fantastic places for you to shop since I'm a plus size girlXD What size are you? Can you fit into an XL or are you strictly plus size?I don't know too much about mens clothing but I think you could probably shop at H&M- they're pretty much everywhere and the womens goes up to a 16, some of which are more like an 18 or 20, and usually the mens department goes up a size or two bigger than that.Asos0o0com is great as well. They go up to a XXL, which is hopefully big enough? The quality of their clothing is really nice but its expensive which sucks. Plus size and cheap don't usually go well together, which sucks. If you find a blazer or something that is really nice its not so expensive though because you can wear it for years.American Eagle is another option and they go up to a XXXL. Medium priced, I would say.Old navy has some really cute things sometimes- I know it doesn't have a reputation for being really fashionable but honestly it can be. They go up to a mens XXXL. They're reasonably priced and have good sales.Gap goes up to a mens XXXL as well but are quite expensive.Stitches often sucks but can have nice shirts sometimes. They go up to a mens XXL.JC Pennys if you're in the US is supposed to be good and they go up to a mens 4XL.You can also get some fantastic things by thrifting as well.
Go to the library and check out the fashion section. Tim Gunn and Nina Garcia have some very good books, the trouble is, most fashion self-help books tend to be targeted at women. Just take a look around and see what you can find. You don't have to be rich to look fabulous.Just develop an editing eye and learn where the best Goodwill store is. Honey it will save your life.
try the christian siriano look… just imagine him plus sized
urban outfitters? american apparel? Source(s): dont be afraid of colour!

Source(s): my gay friend ^^
You could always shop at Urban outfitters, but that is expensive.Maybe american apparel or buckle
urban outfitters & expressmy favorite stores :]
Hmm…. How about Hollister? its a little expensive but its worth it.
Whatever you choose to wear, and where you choose to get it from is up to your own tastes. I would suggest since you dont have alot of money, try a Jc Penny or a TJ maxx tyype store. I come from a family that dosent have that much money to bewasting it on silly expensive clothes that you're almost afraid to wear to because they will get worn out. My mother always told me when it came to clothes that " I'd rather pay 10 dollars and get 2 shirts then 20 dollars on one shirt." I've been told that i have generally good sense of fashion , and i do shop at the "little more expensive " stores. I can do this however because i shop smartly! By things when they are on SALE! Use the h"ell out of coupons! Set limits for your self, for example, when I go shopping. I say to my self " Okay Luke, lets spend only 10-15 dollars on a shirt and maybe 20 dollars on pants!" That way you dont go overboard. My favortie places to shop are Old navy, sometimes Aeropostale( i dont normally like their clothes
), American Eagle, Pac sun , and Rue 21… just wherever i can get good deals!Just shop smartly, and you can have many of the clothes you'd like!
*pulls out hair* Moooooooaaaaaaaannnnnnn =[ =[ =[Ugh, my "feminine" gay guy shops at friggin hot topic. -_-Please, DON'T shop at friggin hot topic, ESPECIALLY if you say you're overweight. You don't even wanna know how cheaply-made and overly expensive those clothes are and how bad it'll look on you…Grr, it's so hard to dress gay guys because they like "girly clothing" but it has to look "gay". Hm, I guess dressing at places like Jc Penny's, Macy's (expensive though), Forever 21, any store with a girls section at the mall, which is most stores. Source(s): edit: OOOOHHHH!!!!!! My gay guy also shops at Spencer's, which aren't bad because they have clothes that'll definately scream "I'm gaaayyyyyyy!" Oh and he also shops at American Eagle, it's actually a good store but he prefers buying the worst shirts…grrr! Can you tell we have an opposite sense of fashion?
