Undecided Question
Foundation HELP!!!!!?
So I need more foundation. I have been using Mary Kay foundation for the past 3 years but I would like to try the mineral foundation to see if it is better.
I have very oily skin and yes I do take good care of it, I use Aveda skin care (It’s very good) but I still have oily skin none the less. I do not have acne (Thank goodness) But I do get break outs every now and then and I have very very white (I am about as white as they come), freckled, uneven skin.
I don’t think that I could do a mineral powder, it does not give me enough coverage, I would like a liquid. Does anyone know of a good brand for my skin type? I live in the middle of the woods and my Wal-Mart is 45 mins away and I go tomorrow (YAYE) so I would love something I can get there, but there is Kohl’s so if there is something there that is very inexpensive that would be ok!
I would preferably like some advice from personal experience.
Thank you very much for your recommendations and help!!!

Wonderful! I had the same issue some years ago. There are a few brands that are close to the "brand" I.D. Bare Minerals. Bare Beauty, and so on. I like Bare Essenctuals (another name for the ID Bare Minerals line) http://bareescentuals(dot)com/ the best. What I do is first put on the base layer of foundation with the kabuki brush, gives nice fine and even coverage. Then I use a smaller-paint-like-brush to add another layer over any spots/areas that need more coverage. (most likely pretty similar to how you are/have been applying your liquid foundation).
And it has natural protection from the sun – due to the minerals in the formula- usually about spf 15. It feels light – and looks much more natural (I think, so does my husband . . .)! And another plus is that I don't have to worry about blending liquid foundation on my jaw line into my neck, you know what I mean? I'm 30 yrs – I have sensitive dry skin – that unfortunately gets oily during the day – this seems to absorb that better too. I hope this helps, in any way!Oh – yet ANOTHER name for this makeup is RareMinerals. When you check out the site – it will explain this further.
