Dry skin – splash out on skincare or be purse friendly and save?
I'm 17 and have pretty dry skin. Some areas are a bit less dry and my nose is sometimes shiny, so it's combination but a lot more dry. I haven't (shock horror) started a beauty routine yet and thought it was about time. I'm aware of the whole cleanse, tone and moisturise (though apparently dry skin can skin toner?) but was wondering whether other things like anti-wrinkle creams and eye creams should be used too? Although I'm only 17, as my skin is dry I do have a couple of lines already. The best I've heard of are Aveeno, Clinique, Liz Earle and Simple. I'm leaning towards Clinique as everyone says it is good, but worried about the price. Would using a Clinique moisturiser with a cheaper brand cleanser be ok, with a slightly more expensive anti-wrinkle cream?

If you want something to moisturize that continues to leave your skin soft, not just while its on, i would suggest using avacado. Just mash it up and use it like a mask on the areas that are dry, it works wonders and isnt expensive. Just do it maybe 2 times a week and it will work great. Also you can puncture a vitamen E softgel and put it on your face overnight. That works great too. As for a daytime moustuizer i really like the aveeno because it doesnt clog pores very bad. And for a face wash my favorite is Neutrogena Source(s): experience
