   It is most definitely on your driving record, and it doesn't matter if you don't have the motorcycle any longer. Your present company may or may not increase your rates at renewal, depending on past record. You have to disclose the accident on an application with a new company, and it is more likely for a new company to surcharge for the accident.

   HelloYes it does, when you applied for the motor Car insurance it would have asked if you had been involved or claimed in the last 5 years? ?I t did not specify with motor cars. If you had Car and Bike insurance running at the same time then you should have notified both insurance companies, You say you were found to be ar fault? If this mans the other person claimed on your insurance but You did not then you still should have notified both insurance companies.Failure to notify them will null and void your insurance if they find out.Andy C

   It will if it is on your driving record or if you reported it to your insurance company. I have had the same insurance company for the last 18 years and just had a very small claim ~1500 and my rates went up $600 a year.Hope it works out for you

   It will only affect your insurance if you have the motorcycle and car on the same insurance. If you have separate insurances for you car and for your motorcycle then a claim on one should not affect the other.
