Does a juvy record affect car insurance?

Got into trouble last year, and hoping i can get my licesne this year. Im wondering if the incdent will affect my car insurance.

It depends on whether you're talking about a juvy CRIMINAL record or a juvy TRAFFIC record. No one can access a juvy criminal record HOWEVER your lifelong drivers history is available as a "public record" to anyone who wants to look it up. Source(s): personal experience

Not if you are past your 18TH birthday.but if you are under age 18 then it's possible.

It depends on the offense. If it was drug or alcohol related, even if it didn't involve driving, it will show up on your driving record & affect your insurance. If it was driving unlicensed, it will affect your insurance. Did the State say that you had to wait to get your license longer than if you didn't get in trouble. For example – your state allows teenagers to get their license at 16, you had this offense, now you have to wait until 17 or 18? Something like that will also affect your insurance because it is considered a suspension, even if it happened before you got your license. I hope this helps.
