I raced through the woods, ashamed of what I'd just done.. Branches scraped against me as i tugged towards the direction on the lake. I paused when I reached it and stood mesmerized by its beauty. The silver water illuminated by the pale moonlight, The giant tree's ghastly shadows and the clear night sky… I bent over to see my reflection in the glowing water the turned away ashamed. I used to admire my lightly tanned clear skin , my big brown eyes and my dark glossy hair but all I saw was a horrific eerily pale monster of what I had become…
