Do you have to declare motorbike insurance claims on a new car insurance policy?
My husband is about to get a car after years riding a motorbike, he has had a few claims on his motorbike insurance. I was wondering if we had to declare them to the car insurance provider or if this wasn't neccesary as its a different type of vehicle.

yes you do.
Yes you do. If you have an accident and the insurers find out they will used it as a way of avoiding paying out which really screws you up. They only ask about any accidents in the last 3 or 5 years at the most. Anything outside this time period wont be relevant. Just try a few online companies for quotes and if you have no claims built up on the bike let them know as they may take this into account
Frank P is correct. Forget the others.
