Do u think my story is good so far?
Name: Maria
Age:14
Description: light brown hair just an inch above the shoulders, light colored skin, bright twinkled blue eyes, skinny.
Her parents had died of a house fire but the firefighters and enough time to save her and her little sister, Lizzie
Since the house was rebuilt she had no one to have anyone to look after her and her sister but her neighbor’s Darry, Sodapop, and Ponyboy stepped in and said they would take care of them. Maria woke to the sound of the alarm clock beeping at her. She look at the clock and it was 9 o’clock in the morning.
“****, I’m late for school.” she said quietly. She grab a couple of her last week’s clothes it was a white T-shirt and a jean jacket with wore out jean’s, along with her grey Converse shoes. Since Lizzie wasn’t in school Maria took a quick look at her just to make sure she wasn’t already awake.
Maria ran into the school almost sliding past her class she peeked a look into her classroom she saw Ponyboy sitting right in the back with an emptying desk in front of him. She opened the door quietly trying at least to sneak into class, everyone looked at her.
“Well, well Miss Hunter care to explain why you’re late?” asked Mrs. Ricky asked impatiently with a stern look.
“I…woke up late this morning sorry Mrs. Ricky.” she looked away ashamed.
“Since this is your first time missing class and you’re such a good student I will let you off the hook.” said Mrs. Ricky, everyone looked at her with shock. Maria smiled slightly at Mrs. Ricky, Mrs. Ricky just glared. Maria walked to her seat right in front of Ponyboy, he threw a note in front of her. Maria opened the noted she read to herself :
Hey Maria,
Wanna hang out after school?
She smiled to herself she looked back onto her memories she had knew Ponyboy for such a long time he was the only guy she really could talk to whenever her parent’s died since then they always had been best buddies’. She wrote back saying:
Sure hang out at the creek?
She threw it back while still looking at the teacher making sure she wasn’t looking at her but no she wasn’t she was writing boring stuff again. Ponyboy tapped on her shoulder and nodded.
After school was busy as normal, she walked out of the school away from the musty smell of it. She spotted Ponyboy quick and right away, she smiled gleefully.
“Hey Pony, what’s up?” asked Maria, “Not much, how about we head down to that creek.” he smiled.
As they walked along she was thinking how beautiful the flower’s looked, a nice summer breeze wisped against her and Pony. She smell it and loved it deeply, “ Like that smell don’t ya?” Pony smiled knowing Maria liked it very much.
“Yea never can get much of it really since my parent’s died and I have to always help my little sister with thing’s.” she smiled slightly looking down.
“Hey no worry’s I already told Darry just before school to look after Lizzie, cause I wanted to hang out with you.” he looked at Maria softly. They got to the creek and laid on the soft green grass.
“Ain’t that sky beautiful Pony?” Maria said lying under the bright blue sky with all different shapes of clouds. Pony looked over at Maria and smiled,” What?” said Maria.
“Yea that sky is pretty but…. You’re prettier.” he said softly looking into Maria’s eye’s. Just then Maria had this most wonderful feeling she never really had before and it was for Pony. She liked him? No, she loved him.
“Well…..” Maria started but Two-Bit interrupted and stopped by the creek.
“Hey you two what’cha ya’ll doing down here?” Two-bit said squinting from the brightness of the sunlight.
“Oh not much, I think I better go home now Lizzie gonna want me back sooner or later hard enough to leave her while I’m at school.” Maria sighed but grinned big,” Catch ya’ll later.”
Maria ran home as fast as she could and finally reach to the house, just a couple blocks away she heard the Mustang roaring down the road somewhere. Maria rolled her eye’s she hated all these Soc’s most of the soc girl’s thought that Maria shouldn’t be hangin around with those “white trash” or whatever they called the greaser’s. She was very proud of her Greaser type and she wouldn’t let any Soc take that away.
She walked into her bedroom and plopped down on her bed forgetting she had to check up on Lizzie but she was to tired to check now.
Thank God today is Saturday no school she told herself and she smiled. She got up and opened up her closet door and looked inside to see what there was to wear. Oh like it really matters right, I mean I still have my clothes on from yesterday. “Morning sleepyhead.” said Lizzie, she was only 12 years old with the blondest hair you’ll ever see.
“Shut up what did you eat for breakfast?” Maria said in a grog

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters I think this would be better on a fanfiction website, to be honest. The writing isn't the best, but you can definitely work to become better.
you wont be able to do anything with this if you plan on publishing. put it on a fanfiction site. its okay. It wasnt very captivating, so i skipped around a bit. the writing isn't that good, and the plots not either. sorry, but i didnt like the outsiders much.
If Lizzie is 12 then why isn't she in school? Anyways not too bad of a story, could use some revision but since it's the rough draft I just ignored those parts.
This is a twist, but i liked it. You should give the setting, and explain the names … Ponyboy? :/ I don't understand, is that actually his name? Maybe explain a little more, and why Miss Hunter let her off the hook. Can u answer mine?
Sounds ok but don't think you will ever get it publishes but maybe in a teenage magazine. You will have to concentrate on your grammar, I have made a few changes for you.* Her parents died in a house fire but the firefighter managed to save Maria and her young sister Lizzie* *Since the house was rebuilt there was no one to look after Maria and her sister Lizzie**with an empty desk in front of him. She quietly opened the door and tried to sneak into the class but everyone was watching her*
