Do they adjust payment if additional vehicle added to car insurance?
I got a truck and added it to my car insurance which will end next month. Since I just added it I shouldn't have to pay the exact premium that I was given right? Shouldn't I be able to just pay for the time I added the truck until my insurance ends?

Do you mean, do they pro-rate it? Charge you for only the one month left on your existing contract? Yes, that is how they usually do it. You should either get a bill for the additional amount or it will show up on your next premium charge, depending on how your company does it, and how long you have been with them.Likewise, they will refund you money, if you should sell a covered vehicle before the time you have already paid for runs out. Ex, If your premiums are billed in July and January…and you sell a car in September, you will be refunded for the four months you have already paid.
the premium has changed, so of course the payments go up, you have more insurance now than when you first got it. You WILL only pay for the time the truck is actually insured!(the amount for the truck, if you have already finished the payments, will probably be added to the renewal payment) Source(s): 25 years agent and service rep
From $25-$85 a month on the Car Insurance you need.Okay, I have two cars (2003 Accord & a 1999 Bmw 323i). I have basic liability for both cars for my wife and I as drivers, plus $25,000 additional liability coverage on the cars.We just paid $427 for an entire year for the same car insurance company we were already paying around $2,000 for before! How can you beat that? I have tried and I have looked through numerous car insurance companies, you have to find the right bargain. Find the best deals available on the entire internet. If you already have Allstate, Geico, AIG, Progressive, Mercury, Esurance, American Family, Nationwide or any other USA auto insurance, and you are paying too much, Go here: http://carinsurance.fsaenterprise.comThank You and God Bless!
if you had 2 cars on a policy and add a third your policy would go up depending on the value of the 3rd car, and the level of coverage.if you had 2 cars on a policy, and dropped one car, and then added another… your policy may go up or down, depending on the value of the cars involved, and the specific changes you made to your policy…
your insurance will probably be prorated to cover the difference between now and when your policy ends. At least that is how it worked on my last couple of cars. You may also qualify for a multi car discount.
Depending on your insurance company, They should "pro-rate" it. So say that you were going to start insurance on the 15th the premium should be around half of the monthly premium, Hope this helpsDan
