Do people with acne grow to have better skin than people that never got it?
I was wondering if people that have acne in there teen years grow up to actually have better skin than people that never had acne in there life.Because the acne people clean there skin, take care of it everyday, take pills and care more about unlike people that dont got it i notice they dont really pay attention to it since it always looks good so they dont use lotions or anything.
So wouldnt it make since that people with acne would grow up to not only not have acne, but also have better looking and healthier skin??

Most of them end up with scarred skin.
It really depends on the products you use and the sensitivity of your skin. People with acne often end up with scars because of it, especially if they are pale like I am. In the end, skin will most likely be the same to most degrees. Why?Simple! These cleaners and pills we take are not for the 'skin' it's for the sebum(Oil) the skin produces. All we're doing with these cleaners and pills is cleaning out te abundance of sebum, but were not actually doing anything else most of the time. Our body will always produce it. It just dependson the level. People with very little acne growing up do not have high levels of sebum being produced, thusly, resulting in less acne. Health wise, it'll most likely not really make a difference. Appearance wise, those who had severe acne will most likely have more uneven tones from old scaring.Hope that helps.^^ Source(s): ~Prior Med-Student
