They're very well thought out. I really don't know what else to say.
After reading that, I know those characters better than I know myself!
Either you don't know the proper definitions of these terms; you mean them in conjunction with other highly specific traits or situations; or these are some contradictory people. For example:Parker Marie – opinionated – obstinate or conceited with regard to the merit of one's own opinions; conceitedly dogmatic; prejudice.open minded – having or showing a mind receptive to new ideas or arguments. 2. unprejudiced; unbigoted; impartial – She also hates arrogant people and yet sarcastic people and opinionated persons tend to be self assured enough to often be confused with arrogant people.John Richard Pacetti – Tough guy (or at least tries to be) good you added that because lazy and tough don't go hand in hand. The one that really got me was: <Courageous> which by definition is confident fortitude or daring that actively faces and endures anything threatening so for him to be <cautious> about it makes me go hmmmmm( caution being defined as – Showing or practicing caution; careful. Tentative or restrained; guarded – not easy to be courageous when you're constantly checking over your shoulder). He's athletic but he's a <lazy> <athlete>. Not sure I'm buying that one either, wouldn't bet on his team no matter what. He is some kind of confused alright because if you <don't care what others think> of you then how does he determine who is valuable enough for him to <'be concerned about the people around him'>.Grif – the cowardly dude with the adventurous side? Because if you're scared on a profound level that will severly inhibit how much adventure will be thrown into your life. If you're insensitive and obnoxious you better have some seriously altruistic monies to be considered a humanitarian otherwise no one will allow you to do unto them. Talk about contradiction. And his pet peeve is rude people and yet he is one of them by your definition.I understand that you can be both and all of these things at once depending on a particular time in your life or a minute in your being but this is very extreme without showing any real validity. To me. I haven't read the story so I don't know if you successfully pulled this Houdini off well but let's just say I hope you can write yourself out of this box in enough time otherwise you will drown. The descriptions of these characters don't give you as the author any breathing room.
