Do Black people really get treated poorly by whites?

I don't really care about race. I obviously NOTICE when people are different races, but I don't treat them differently.

My mom and I always drool over the "hot bald black guy" in movies and on television. I love the fact that the deepest voices I have ever heard belong to black men (deep voices are the sexiest voices on the planet). When I was in high school I used to tell people that the black girls in the school "Had the nicest bodies I have ever seen". I LOVE the really really dark skin of some people. When my little sister was younger she was obsessed with black people and ONLY wanted black dolls.

If I ever have anything particular to say about a certain race, it is never a stereotype which I apply to the entire race, and it is always based on positive personal observations. I like certain traits which happen to belong to a small number of people belonging to a certain race.

I don't really care about race, and don't judge people on their race. Nor do I treat people of different races differently. But judging by the questions posed here, I have to wonder if there are blacks who are treated poorly by whites? The sentiment around here is somewhat anti-white.

At first I thought "These people are nuts, whites don't care about all this stupid stuff they do." This was because I was assuming that people basically thought the same way I do… (because as far as I can observe, where I live, they do). But now I wonder if there is a REASON why there seems to be so much animosity. Are blacks really treated badly by whites, do they show that they do care about racial issues that are brought up here as questions?

(Hmm I actually hadn't noticed this… but because I wrote this it was brought to my attention that I ONLY ever like the "black guy" in movies and if there isn't one, I don't like any of them… unless they are Johnny Depp. =P)
