I'm 17 and I am a mahogany color and I have witnessed black guys go with a girls who are obviously unattractive but who are lightskinned and don't seem to care as long as she's lightskinned (or where I'm from "red") So my question is do looks matter as much to black guys if the girl has lightskin?

That is the STUPIDEST thing I've ever heard! Just because some guys go for other girls doesn't mean there's no one for you. Who knows? Some guy could have a huge crush on you right now but is too shy to say anything! It depends on the person themselves, some guys just don't want to commit to an actual relationship so they go for the girls who they know just want a fling. Just be patient, the good guys are hard to find
