Could I ask for financial help from my mom?
I'm 31 y.o. unemployed, I need to go to the hospital to take care of my skin disease. I'm embarrassed to ask her for money, is it okay to ask her money? or is there any other way to put it in a nice acceptable way? Thanks.

A lot depends on what kind of relationship you have with your mom. If you have a good relationship with your mom, then yes, go talk to her. Explain the situation and ask to borrow the money. Be willing to even write out and sign an agreement with her stating how and when you will pay her back and if you are going to pay any interest on it. You may also need to show your mom that you have been trying to find a job. If your mom is understanding, she may be willing to just help you pay the bills without expecting to be paid back. You can also check around for other available sources of help. Ask the hospital because they would know where you might be able to find help. Some counties will pay hospital bills, but you have to be able to show that you have no way to pay and the treatment is necessary.
