Cheek piercing, help?!?
the problem is that the skin on the inside of my cheek has started to grow over the ball. is my piercing getting rejected? what should i do?
will the ball come back if i wait a couple more days for the piercing to heal?
*i went to see the piercer two days ago when the inside swelling was getting pretty bad and she said that she had already used one of the longest bars on me and that the swelling was normal. (she was so wrong and today's her day off, which is why i was hoping someone could be helpful)

The skin on the inside of your mouth regenerates very quickly, and it's not rare for this to happen. Go see your piercer ASAP. Source(s): http://wiki.bmezine0o0com/index.php/Embedd…
uh, idk but my piercer told my friend that if the jewelry is short during healing the skin might heal over the jewelry so i would go to the shop you got it done and ask if their is another piercer you could see if not go to a different shop cuz that's not good
She wasn't wrong 2 days ago. The swelling was normal and has gone down. This is a different issue. It's not getting rejected, it's just healing funny.Wash your hands thoroughly, then careful pinch your cheeks so that the ball is exposed on the inside. Do this over and over again so the skin can't heal over the ball. Keeping your mouth open would help too. That ought to keep you set until tomorrow when you can check with her about long-term healing. You may not be able to keep a cheek piercing if your mouth skin is going to try to grow over the longest bar, but you can check with other piercers to see if the have longer bars.
