Care and make up for oily skin?
i have moderate oily skin but by the middle of the day my face is pretty shiney. i've gone to a dermo but she didn't really help that much. does anyone know any good skin care products and possibly make up foundation and powder that won't run off my face and is moderately priced?

I have really oil skin, so here is my experience:1. Do not use compact foundation. It will run once there is oil on your face.2. Liquid is a better choice. Choose non-oily formulas like Clinique superfit, Estee lauder doublewear. top up with loose powder. They are more expensive than your drug store brands but last really long. Trust me, you don't want to compromise your complexion with cheap foundations.3. Primer is your best friend. It controls oil secretion and holds your foundation. MAC prep+prime (the one with spf) is my saviour.4. Use a gentle cleanser. Aggressive ones will trigger your skin to produce more oil.5. Use a proper makeup remover to remove makeup.6. Always wear moisturizer. Remember, skin produce oil simply because there is not enough moisture! If your skin is well moisturized, it won't bring out its defensive mechanism – pouring oil out! Clinque has some wonderful ones. Ask for a non-oily formula.7. Oil blotter is your best friend too. But don't overdo it. If you use the MAC primer, you won't even need it.
Only wash your face once a day, and use an oil free foundation. Power is good for covering up shine
the clinique 3 step system skin care line is amazing they have 4 different ones so u need to have some one test u to see what one u are————–http://www.clinique0o0com/cms/product/franchise/3step_system_mpp.tmpl and they have this foundation called super fit it works wonders
good luck hope this helps
Use a cleanser that's specifically made for oily skin, Use a powder foundation, rather than liquid. Mineral foundation is probably the best. You should also buy blotting pads and use them in the middle of the day if you think your skin looks pretty oily.
For skin care, get a water-based moisturizer, since you have oily skin. Revlon has different foundations for different skin times, like oily/combination or dry/normal. They have moderate to full coverage are pretty good. Depending on where you get it, it's about $10-$15. They have the liquid, mousse, & mineral. I like the mineral. Mineral foundation requires no blending and it doesn't sweat off, so I use it to set my liquid foundation. Good luck! Hope i helped.
