Undecided Question
Can you recommend a great face moisturizer?
I'm 23 and I want to start taking care of my skin. There are too many products to choose from.
What should I look for?
SPF, UV protections?
Anti aging?
Day cream vs Night cream? should I have both? or one general cream? does it matter?
Price differences, does it matter?
I have minimal dry skin, medium pores, fair skinned.

Calla, I recommend what I use; Preve extreme anti aging by Isabella Pelle. It's made specifically for fine lines/wrinkles. It has the highest concentration of "peptides" active ingredients to fight them. Also has the highest concentration of the best known moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. This has kept my skin baby smooth.Last month they came out with a more concentrated version of Preve called Cura. It's everything Preve except they concentrated it to extreme. I got it 2 weeks ago; it's excellent. What you need to do is decide which one is best for you. I recommend both. http://www.isabellapelle0o0com/antiagingcr…Like you I'm also 23, and I've used everything off the Walmart shelves. Price does make a difference. I learned from experience of trying several products not to expect much from a $2.99 bottle of lotion. I've been using Preve for the past 3 yrs, and I have not look back. For sunblock just get any sunblock lotion with an SPF of 45 or higher, skip the "all in one" lotions. These sunblock lotions are made for that can get them anywhere. What I do is apply Preve, and if I'm going out in direct sunlight I apply Coppertone.
Neutrogena and Olay products work wonders for me…. (Sunscreens, moisturizers, scrubs, anti-aging etc etc)… I am 23 too… Medium skin.. (gets oily coz of my oily hair)… You'll actually have to try a few products yourself because what works for me may not work for you… Well I found these other products effective for me but I only use them occasionally— Ponds day and night cream, Aveeno anti aging creams and ROC(anti aging, night creams, effective also in reducing dark marks, skin redness).Sunscreen– should be SPF 15/30… UV A and B protection.(Not mentioned on the packaging, so you'll have to research if the product u're interested in provides both UV A and B protection.(cosmetics database will give u the research info)Anti aging — I find creams with vitamin E and oil of Olay more effective than face masks when it comes to reducing my wrinkles. They don't go away entirely but are reduced to a great extent… You might want to start preventing wrinkles right now!! Well if you don't want to start using creams right away you can try skin firming face masks once a week instead…Day and night creams — You well should use both day and night creams… During the night they work better though because you don't go out and theres not much pollution in the air around. Why it's also impt during the day is bcoz you get protected from pollution and sun and also you'll keep your skin hydrated… Price differences well don't matter if you've found a product that works well for you and you can spend on skincare right… General advice:You'll always have to wash makeup out before going to bed… If not it can cause acne and dull looking skin…Go through this daily wash routine: gentle exfoliation(and gentle coz harsh can cause dry skin)(if you think this'll dry ur skin out then do it every other day), follow with a moisturizer and a toner. And once a week: Use face masks/ face peels(depending on what you want to do… like face firming or pore refining or hydrating etc).
