   Yes, it is possible, but it won't help him to get a lower insurance rate. What you should do instead is to shop around insurances. I used to lived in South Florida where my rates were 2000.00 a year on a full cover insurance, now I live in South Carolina where my rates are only 600.00 a year. I had my mom use my address and register her car in my address for her to get a cheaper insurance. She lives in Miami. Maybe you should do the same.
