Can i transfer no claims bonus from my car to a motorbike insurance policy?
I currently have 6 years no claims bonus on my car insurance policy but i am wanting to get a bike after i have passed my direct access and do not want to pay extortionate rates for an insurance policy.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Yes but they don't tell you that so this is how you get around it.Simply add your bike to your current policy. They don't care how long you had your license, they won't ask you.Just don't buy a crotch rocket and you won't pay through the nose.
you have to build your no claims on your bike seperatley its a different catagory of vehicle .
No, you can't.Car and motorcycle insurance polices are totally different. Some companies do offer a 'six-wheel' insurance, allowing you to put a car and a motorcycle on the same policy, though. However, even they DO NOT allow you to transfer NCB from the car to the bike.
no you can not, i had the same problem, you have to start again with a motorcycle policy .. 4 years no claims down the drain …motorbike insurance is miniscule in comparison to car insurance anyhow …
Hi,I took up a deal with Churchill that simply extended my car insuance to cover my riding the Harley. The extra cost was minor
no because its a different cat of driving
i think they may be able to give you a "safe driver" introductory discount but it depends on the insurance company.
