Can I return a product in stores, that I bought online?

I bought the Clinique 3-Step Skin Care System, Limited Edition in the beginning of December, and I purchased it on Clinique0o0com. I've found that it doesn't meet up to my expectations, so I want to return it. Can I return this product in stores, such as at Macys or Nordstrom? Or can I only return in online, becuase I really do not want to pay for shipping and handling.
