Buzzed hair on an oblong face?

I am not a slave to fashion or style or whatever, but I do put some stock in making sure I remain obviously feminine. My boyfriend has been half-jokingly asking me to buzz my hair super short for quite some time. After a semi-bad haircut and meeting yet another woman today who looks beautiful in a shaved head, I'm finally coming around to maybe trying it.

However! I have an oblong face, and my skin and hair are low contrast. I'm not worried about uncovering weird lumps, but I am worried that my face will not take kindly to such short hair, as I have about one hairstyle that actually looks good.

Has any woman out there with an oblong face buzzed her hair and had it look attractive?

Please no answers from people telling me that buzzed hair *won't* look feminine on any woman. My definition of beauty does not match yours.

I can't give you any picture examples, but I've seen many women with oblong faces and buzzed hair, and they've all looked pretty.And even if you go for it and not end up liking how you look, remember: hair grows.Hope you like your decision!

If your concerned about the shape of your face you could always do a mohawk styled hair cut. I have both sides shaved as I have a mohawk myself, I wear it down a lot of the time so it can still look as if I have hair when parted correctly.
