Breast Cancer concern!?
I have had a beauty mark spot on the lower half of my breast all my life, it is quite dark/black round in shape, well it was, I have noticed a change in shape last year but was not really concerned about the spot, now lately the shape has somewhat changed and slightly grown in size, I have also noticed another spot recently which has never been there before, it is close in size to the first spot….I am 22 years of age, I have read quite a few articles on breast cancer and am not sure if it is related to that. I do not have any lumps or getting any discharges from my nipple, some symptoms vary and could this be a skin problem ? there is no itching, or breakouts and it is not on the nipple area ….what should I do?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You need to have this checked by a doctor . . you are asking the wrong question and everyone is 'reassuring' you that it is not cancer because you are young . . but what they are not telling you is that it could be a different type of cancer altogether. You are describing a birth mark that has changed in size and color so this needs to be examine by a dermatologist to rule out the different types of skin cancer. Skin cancer does occur in your age group and it is possible for birth marks to become malignant . . so it needs to be checked just in case. Source(s): Experience. Breast cancer is within the breast tissue itself. You are talking about a mole on your skin. You should get any suspect moles checked out as it could be skin cancer(melanoma). If caught early enough it is just a simple procedure. Otherwise it can spread and be difficult to treat. Any moles that change shape or colour are suspicious and need to be looked at promptly.
Breast cancer is almost unheard of at your age, and fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with it are under 30.And what you describe aren't breast cancer symptoms.See your doctor about what is clearly a skin condition, in case it needs treatment. Hey,no this does not sound cancerous at all.If anything, this is just genetics. And you're just getting beauty marks. You must have them on other parts of your body too. Most likely your face/neck.This is nothing to worry about.Best Wishes =)
It does not sound like breast cancer and the odds at your age of having breast cancer are highly unlikely. It sounds like something that should be checked out by a dematologist. You can get skin cancer on your breast. Source(s): Breast cancer survivor
Make an appointment with your Doctor or if your really worried ask your doctor wether should should have a breast scan.
It's highly unlikely since your only 22. But get it checked out by a doctor.
