   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Yes, thats true but some types help more than others I think? There are a lot of different types of birth control pills, they have different types and amounts of hormones. You can ask your doctor, they will be able to help you find one that might help with both problems. I am not sure which specific one is best but probably its better if you ask the doctor anyway.

   Sometimes it does. I have a lot of friends who were put on birth control to control there acne, and its definatley helped them a lot. Its because birth control helps regulate your crazy hormones…. I hate pimples hah Source(s): Peers

   Um, I've never heard of that one before. I don't see why the pill would help with your pain though..I never even got cramps until I went on it! Btw, a heating pad might help with the cramps…

   it depends on what birth control you go on, but most pills do help control moderate acne. it helped me alot! gd luck
