Beauty: Starting from scratch (Could'ee spare some help for a newb?)?
As you can see, I have a real problem with dark circles under my eyes. I use REALLY cheap makeup, so the concealer is basically crap. >_<
Makeup:
What do I use? What colors would work for me? Any suggestions for cheap-but-not-trashy-makeup?
Hair:
I've never blow dried my hair of my own volition in my life. How do I do it? (Keep in mind I have extremely thick hair) I own a straightener, and I can sorta use it. I'm just really bad at it.
Skin:
I use Proactive for acne, so that's no big deal… Should I get a tan? Any skin care tips you'd like to share? I'm a big fan of natural stuff (usually involving eggs xD )
Clothes:
Yeah, totally clueless here. I… I still wear culottes. *hangs head in shame* I have a deep love (and two pairs xD ) of striped socks. Is there any way I can wear these without looking like a dork?
I'm 98 lbs, and 5'2", small… urm… "up top", and 15 years old. I have NO idea what clothes look good on that.
Weight loss:
I train every Monday at the YMCA, but I could afford to drop a few pounds. However, I don't have the dedication or desire to develop an eating disorder. Any suggestions on how I can do this? (Note: I do use a few of the non-destructive tips from pro-ana websites.)
So, there's like 50 million questions for you. -_- If you can't answer them all, that's a-okay. I'm just somewhat desperate here…

Hm. First off, you do not need to lose weight..you seem small. Second, feel free to email me (link on my profile). I'm a 13 year old professional model and actress, so I know a lot about fashion and beauty and makeup. Also, I might start a blog and youtube channel about that sort of stuff. So if you email me I can tell you when I do.It's good that you are interested in natural beauty products. You can buy books all about making your own all natural products
You can get cheap makeup without buying bad makeup. Loreal, Maybelline, Revlon, Covergirl, and NYX are pretty good and cheap
As far as clothes go, skinny jeans might look cute on you. With cute tank tops, cardigans, or graphic tee shirts. High waisted skirts with pretty tops would elongate your legs and look nice. Like I said, any questions email me!
OK….we're going to start w/fairly inexpensive make-up which you can pick up at your local drug store, and since you're using Proactive get Almay. Google Almay coupons and check out Walgreens, Target sales ads, etc..to get the best deal and use your coupons. Sally Beauty has a fairly inexpensive under eye "bleacher"which is supposed to lighten the skin under your eyes. Otherwise, just use a concealer. If you're near a Sephora see what they can do for you too. They'll give you samples free and can help with any skin care questions you may have. Tell them the truth, IE, your age as younger skin is much different than older skin. They may be able to give you some advice on what to wear makeup wise for whatever event you may have. RE: colors, find a color wheel and see what contrasts with brown, as that seems to be your eyes, hair, gorgeous skin, etc….fresh colors like pinks and golds or earthy tones like forest greens and darker plums can bring out your eyes. Clothes? Well, girl…I'm like a 40 yr. old teenager as I wear Hot Topic and Torrid clothing, but it's totally up to you in regard to what you'd like to wear. It just depends on what you're doing and where you're going. Check out either a Teen Vogue/Cosmo or Seventeen mag and see what they suggest. Depending on your body type they almost always have an article showing which outfits suit your body type…or just google "What to wear for what body type. Now hair…that's my bag, girl. Regardless of hair type always put in a leave in conditioner for your hair type(it's thick find one for that sort of hair)Use the hair dryer on a low to medium heat setting and just let it blow out. Now if you want more volume start at the back of your head and tilt your head down in front of you(as if you're putting your head between your knees) and have the dryer blow at the center to the top of your head/hair using a brush to smooth things out. When using your straightening tool do NOT leave it in one place but clip it to as close to your scalp as you can w/out burning yourself and pull down to the end of your hair. You will burn and dry out your hair if you leave it in one place for any length of time. This is from experience, advice from friends in the beauty industry and class, btw.RE: Weight loss….no food after 7PM….not even fruit…still has carbs. Water….loads of ice water all thru the day…..lay off the sugars, enriched food(IE, white bread, rice, etc..), low-fat/skim milk and just exercise as much as you can. You look fine to me but I hear ya about wanting to lose weight. That's my daily mantra…..for years! LOL!Tan? It's up to you. You have gorgeous skin to begin with…if it ain't broke…..I really hope some of this helps. If you have any questions drop me a line whenever you want. I have a 15 year old sister and she's so much like you! Plus, you have loads of time to "fill out" and get your curves. Don't rush it, girl because once you're out of the house, grown up and paying them bills, it is all downhill from there. Enjoy being a youngun and having mom and dad around to help ya(if that applies).Take care, sweetie!
