Undecided Question

Beauty marks??? Moles?

Ok, so my mom has like hundreds of moles, beauty marks, and those bright red little spots that don't itch or anything they're just there. So I don't have as many as her, like hers cover her body, and mine just spot my skin, but I was wondering about a few things. Here are my questions:
1. My dots are mostly on my arms and upper body, but not very many on my face. They are dark brown and flat. Most are little, there's no concern for skin cancer or sun damage. So are they considered moles or beauty marks? And are any of them considered birthmarks if I was born with them?
2. Do these marks (the ones I described on my arms) signify beauty in any way or is that just something human nature has made up? Does this signify anything during birth or baby development? What actually makes these marks?
3. Why do new marks appear. I used to have way less little dots than now. How do they suddenly appear and why?
4. Are beauty marks dangerous. i know moles are. Are flat ones dangerous or only raised?
5. Why do some people (my mom) have so many, some (me) have average amount, and some (my friend) have none???
