At home beauty mark removal?
So these beauty marks on my face were making me feel gross. (flat moles) So i took a nail, and i scraped them off my face, i dug in there pretty well, it was red a blotchy for a week or two, but now it looks pretty healed. When I look closely in a mirror, there's no browness, the old spot looks just like the rest of my skin, however when i take a few steps back, and look in the mirror, the area is still brownish. What is creating this illusion that i cannot see anything up close but from a far it reappears.
I may have to consider getting the nail and scrapping much deeper?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Scrapping your face is probably not a very healthy idea. If you want to fade brown marks or sun spots on your face, you can buy fade creams from pharmacies or drugstores. If it is still bothering you, consult your doctor or a dermatologist. You've got your face for the rest of your life – it's not worth damaging yourself with home remedies.
Best case scenario: The mole is gone but you've traded it for a scar. Scraping it will only make it worse. Don't do it.Worst case scenario: The mole was a cancerous tumor. You've scraped off the exposed part and your skin healed over the wound but now the rest of the mass is concealed and shows only as a darkened shadow on your face. Go see a doctor.
NOOOOOO! it is extremely dangerous to remove beauty marks or moles by your self! most beauty marks or moles are fed by important arteries that you can destroy when removing them. causing severe injuries or sometimes even death. have it removed by a doctor or surgeon.
that was not a good idea. you can get cancer from doing that with moles. go to a skin doctor plz for gosh sakes! Source(s): my uncle shaved one off his head and cancer there.
should probably just use hydrogen peroxide bleaching cream.
It depends on the nature of the mark. Some moles and other marks go very deep into the skin. You can't just scrape them off; you have to have them removed surgically (the surgery is quite minor, but it's more than just scraping them off).Very superficial marks, particularly those that develop after birth (as opposed to moles and things that you were born with) may be superficial enough to burn off with liquid nitrogen or chemicals. Skin tags are generally in this category, along with some other benign lesions. Even then, it's best to go to a dermatologist if you can, rather than do it yourself, just to prevent infection, scarring, etc., if you should mess it up.You don't get cancer from messing with a mole, although you can get and infection and/or produce a scar.
