Asian mken find attractive?

i have a crush on an asian (korean) guy in my area and im learning his language and can cook some traditional korean foods (like bulgogi and jopchae) and i tried to change my look to better fit the 'asian beauty standard' (long dark hair, white skin, big eyes, etc.) but he hasnt taken much notice? is this not what korean boys generally find attractive? please help i really like him!
