- The obvious one, drinking water – during the summer I drank nothing but water.
- Fruit and vegetables, I love both these thankfully.. so I have no problem having either.
- Clearasil Ultra – rapid action treatment cream.
- Clean & Clear advantage kit, includes moisturiser, exfoliater etc.
- For taking off my makeup I use 'Simple' brand which doesn't have any alcohol or anything in it. I always remove my makeup before I go to sleep also.
- Clearasil spot control, deep cleansing 3 in 1 wash, oil-free,
- Clean & Clear daily wash, which has gentle micro beads and is oil-free also.
- Clean & Clear deep action freshing gel cleanser, which is the most recent one I'm using.
- Face steaming.
- Toothpaste on overnight.
- I get loads of sleep also, maybe more than I actually should!
- Washing my face twice a day, I have done this.. but it tends to make my skin even worse? so I tend to wash my face once in the morning before putting my makeup on, though this doesn't seem to do anything great.
Okay that's basically everything I can think of that I have used for my skin.
Is there anything there I haven't used, that you could think of that has helped you?
I would be most thankful!
P.s the condition of my skin is not great.. I don't have dry skin, just very oily skin… so I'm prone to spots, every 2 weeks or so I get these sore red lumps which usually appear on the nose and chin, takes around 3days to go, other than that I get the usually pimples with puss (digusting I know) these usually appear on the chin, and the area between my eyesbrows on my forehead.

I have similar problems, oily skin with regular breakouts
But my oily skin is so much better now, just the spots thats the problem but its improving! I'll tell you what i do that actually works
Wash my face twice everyday;-Splash your face with lukewarm water-Then i use Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash and Mask. (heres a pic of what it looks like http://www.superdrug0o0com/Face-Wash/NEUTR… I use the wash way.-Rinse off with cold water-Then i use a toner for oily skin, any brand will do.-Then moisturize .Just to let you know since iv'e been doing this my skin has been improving, i have fewer spots, my skin isn't oily and the Neutrogena product makes your skin VERY soft! Its amazing, i really recommend the Neutrogena product it really works for me and it seems like we have the same skin type and its fairly cheap.Oh and if spots usually appear on your chin ect. just focus more on them areas when using the wash. Also you could go to the doctors and they can give you a cream that could work for you. Also, don't touch your skin, don't pick your spots and don't squeeze them! I have learnt my lesson from this. I squeezed a few of my spots when they weren't ready and now where the spot is it has dry blood which wont clear up for a few weeks. Hope iv'e helped

1) Every night, before you go to bed, cut off two pieces of a potato and rub the pieces on your face. You want the juice. Keep it on for 15 minutes, then wash off with water and pat your face dry. I have done this, and I have made a pretty bad acne scar fade to the point where its barely noticeable. 2) I bought this at Walgreens, it's meant for sunburn, but it's called Aloe Vera with Tea Tree Oil. Sunburn relievers are meant to help irritated skin, and personally I think that pimples fall into the "irritated" area. You just dab a little on the pimple, or just put some on your face and rub it in like lotion, and leave it on. This helps pimples and scars heal as well. 3) Before you go to bed, put diaper rash cream on your pimple. It will dry it up and remove redness. This is very effective, worked a ton better than toothpaste did.
Hi SerenI have two skincare tips for you1. Chamomile, lavender and peppermint can heal and tone the skin. Ever wondered why they seem to feature in so many different face products? Well, now you know. To make your own, try placing a bit of each of these herbs into a bowl with boiling water and use as a healthy steam bath for the face. After the water has cooled, the “tea” can be used as a facial toner for up to two weeks if kept in the refrigerator. Add 4 teaspoons of herbs to ever 2 quarts of water. 2. Instant tanner gone easy. Many people hate self tanning lotions because they can be hard to use and leave the skin looking streaking. In a world of instant gratification, this happens because people want to be tan right now! Instead of using the self tanning lotion full strength, try mixing your favorite moisturizer with a bit of self tanning lotion. You will not see the result in 2 to 3 days, but after a week or so the skin will gradually achieve that perfect tan with no streaks. Source(s): http://www.ihbeauty.co.uk
Morning and night wash your face, take off your make-up, wash your pillow every now and then
After reading your question,it was quite clear that you are using to many products, I also think that you might have a mild dose of acne, consult your doctor, My suggestion is to only clean your skin with water twice a day, no soap or products, and exfoliate three times a week, then use use a non oily moisturising cream. Every night before you go to bed, wash your face, use Neutrogena Wave Duo (that's what I recommend, I use it,) tie your hair up in a BUN, and make sure your pillow is clean and your hair isn't all over your face because that is where most oil comes from. Don't eat a lot of sugar, too.
ok, go on a makeup detox- go without it for as long as you can. also, as soon as you come out the shower use a non chemical or perfumed moisturiser- E45 is a good choice.if its oily, also don't use too much skin cleaning products, sometimes they irritate your skin and make conditions worse. never ever pick the spots, they'll just scar. just try not to put make up on those areas, even better don't wear it at all, unless you really need it. Try to take cod liver oil diet supplements, they seem to help hair, skin and nails.
Btw, don't leave the toothpaste on your face overnight – it causes scarring
Also, maybe you're using too many products on your face too often? Washing your face more than twice a day can make it oily, also if you apply things (like moisturiser) later in the day too. Basically, wash your face with a face wash in the morning and night, follow up with a toner to hydrate and then apply moisturiser (good base for foundation
) Remember to remove all traces of make up with a make up remover/ facial wipe, then wash it off properly with the face wash. I find that anything with tea tree oil dries up the oily skin, like a tea tree face mask from the body shop once a week. Also, the scrub should be used once a week seeing as you already have oily skin.
Other than that, you seem to be doing a pretty good job! X
