Am I setting myself up for failure?
I am extremely picky when it comes to guys that I date. I like tall (5'9 and up) guys with an athletic build. Dressing well is a plus. I like them to be smart, caring, funny, affectionate, and polite. I prefere brown skinned to light skinned. I'm not picky with race at all. I don't like dreads or braids. Am I crazy? Should I lower my standards?

No, you shouldn't lower your standards, even if you might end up staying single longer until you find that right men, at least you'll feel happier when you do. If you were to lower your standards, even while in the relationship you won't feel as happy as you should and always have somewhere in the back of your head.. "Maybe I could find better" and that every little bump that a couple hits, will seem a lot bigger than they actually are.
NO!Don't ever lower your standards or settle for something you don't want.I have high standards also.
