Acne Problem (Please help)?
I'm mostly aiming for people who've had mild acne before & completely lost it in their teenage years (Not when they hit hood). I'm 14 years old male and I have mild acne. I honestly can't stand acne. I've tried every product in the book just about. I've given up soft drinks, eating junk food & much more. I've been drinking nothing but water for the past 6 months strictly. Some of the products I've taken are: Acne Pill, Skin ID (Neutrogena Product), Dove Soap, Massaging Cleanser, AcneFree, Prescription Pads along with Prescription Cream. All those products do nothing but make my face blazing red. I just want a product that a person has used in experience during their teenage years that dramatically worked. I really want to have clear skin before I hit high school. I don't drink soda anymore due to my acne. My acne isn't horrible but it's bad enough where you can extremely notice it. I've never gotten acne on my forehead. It's literally clear as a baby's bottom. Not one blemish. The places I get acne at are mainly my cheeks, chin & occasionally on my nose (Mostly in between). I don't get many black heads, mostly just patches of pimples with blemishes and some single zits. I've never used an acne product on my forehead though. So please if anyone has used a product that has dramatically worked for you & you would rec-amend it to a person like me, give it all to me please. Anything will help. I just want to have clear skin. I take care of my face so well, I always ask why me? But I know I'm going through teenage years. It's just I see people with clear skin at my school who pig out in junk food & soda. But I drink nothing but water and eat healthy. I'm skinny but just my zits on my face. Ugh!

Unfortunately, there are just some people that have acne and can try everything under the sun and not get rid of it. I had acne at your age and my skin cleared up after freshman year of high school. Try Pro-Active. It worked for me. And, there is a knock-off version at Walmart that may work if you can't afford the actual Pro-Active kit. You also should stick with one thing and stop switching around to different products. When you try a new acne product, it sometimes makes you a little worse before it gets better. You need to give the product enough time to work and stick with it for a few months to actually see the results. It sounds like you are working on your diet. That's a really good thing. But, examine your diet again. You've cut out junk food and soda, but what about sugar? Sugar is in a lot of things you don't realize (i.e., cereal). Also, you need to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Cut out anything white (white bread, white pasta, white flour) and switch to whole grains.Stress also causes acne. If you are stressed out, you need to find a way to get your stress under control. Trying working out regularly to manage stress.
Just go to a dermatologist and they will make you a product to fit your skin type
Proactiv is your only answer. Go to proactiv0o0com, and order today. Source(s): My brain
it's tough i know. i eat healthy, i'm slim and health. but i have the worst skin, i had acne but it's calmed down a lot after i went to the doctor. although, it took a year and i'm going back next week as it's flaring up a bit again.i know a girl who eats nothing but junk food and hasn't eaten fruit and vegetables on her own accord in about 4 years, she also wears inches of pore clogging foundation and doesn't wash it off properly (something that i do religiously) and she has good skin, when she gets one spot, just one! she's like OMG i have acne! and i'm like, shut up. you know nothing of having acne.sorry for the rant. but seriously, it's you age and your genes, it's no something you're doing wrong, i've tried everything to no avail.my only advice is to seek medical attention. if you don't get it now, you'll have all these scars that i unfortunatley have all over my face (due to my doctor not giving me proper help, such as too harsh creams that burnt my skin and useless pills that done nothing, but that is my personal experience) doctors can perscribe proper treatments.refuse steroids though, in the long run they ruin your skin.
I know how You feel. I Hate getting any kind of pimple!! I know it cost $$$ but your best bet is going to a Dermatologist.. What helped Me for sure was the pill I was put on.I have Always used something called Panoxal & I still to this day Always have a tube in case of a pimple breakout.. Its a benzoyl peroxide gel…. That is by Prescription only.. You can go to Walgreen's or Walmart & get the Panoxyl Acne Foaming Wash In a tube that you can use on your Face chest & back. That I use every day. Its good…. And I believe they sell a Panoxyl bar of soap too. Try it. I hope you have luck… Good luck in school.
neutrogena face wash works really well. the mint greenish one with little beads in it that scrub your face. also, if you have a particular one that's really bugging you, dab a little toothpaste on it at night for a few nights. it should help make it disappear. also try to keep your hair clean because oil from you hair can get on your face, and try to touch your face as little as possible.
I had all over acne as a teen and I think one reason you are getting it in those areas is b/c you might be touching your face a lot..i.e. resting your hands on your face in class or dirty cell phone on your face during calls. I promise you that food has nothing to do with it. It's HORMONES, PERIOD.Testosterone causes oil overdrive… but don't worry, you need it to be male. It caused by the pores being blocked by sebum or keratin and forming an infected site (the zit). I have sensitive skin and even Proactive makes me look like I have a horrible sunburn. Use gentle cleansers daily. I love Mario Bedescu Enzyme Cleanser. I think you can get this stuff at ULTA now =) I used to use Oil of Olay Sensitive Skin Daily Cleanser. It's in a tube much like hair gel and is creamy looking when you squeeze it out. Bottom line… make sure your product is for sensitive skin. Dab benzoyl peroxide on the zits… very thin!!! They'll go away in a couple days. Twice a week I use a glycolic acid wash.. mine is mario bedescu.. I follow all deep cleansings with a rich oil-free moisturizer. Now that I'm older I'm using a "hydrating" creme from Oil of Olay. Just choose one that really silky feeling. For Everyday.. I use an oil-free moisturizer to keep the redness down. I think that since you don't have blackheads you don't need to exfoliate now, but if you start to.. then do that once a week?? it all depends on how flaky your skin gets. To treat those it's important to have that into your routine. It's good that you care so much now. It will really help you to have great skin especially when you are older.
