   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Tho fact that you're a middle class family with 2 parents and one 17 year old son who drives on a provisional license has nothing to do with how much damage said teenager will do to his dad's insurance upon getting 8 points on his license.My tip would be to get him to pay for his own part of the insurance or get on the bus.have fun
