About how much will Car Insurance for me cost?
I am a male. I am 16 almost 17. I am about to buy a car, I am looking for one now. About how much will it cost for a normal sized car? Not a sport car. Also I was told that my insurance can be lowered with my grades? I have straight A's.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters There is no way for someone to say what it would cost, except that it tends to be expensive when you have no driving experience behind you.You can go to one of many insurance company online sites and put in your information and the type of vehicle in order to obtain a quote. It's free, quick and will give you accurate information based on your information. If it helps, I was able to save money through a free on-line quoting service at http://gsx1.com/InsuranceComparison.html Source(s): http://www.google.comhttp://finance.ebookorama.com/ukusa-sele…
'bout a million dollars.Seriously, insurance rates are determined by where you live, they car you're insuring, how much insurance you buy and more.Although 16 and 17 year olds have almost the biggest risk and therefore have the highest insurance rates, most insurance companies offer some kind of discount for having gotten good grades. I said 'almost' the highest risk as it could be worse. Some new drivers have had tickets as well as accidents. They're at a higher risk. In time you can also get 'good driver'; discount, usually after three years of no tickets or accidents. You also get a slight discount when you renew. As you get older, as long as you maintain a good record, rates go down (unless inflation matches counters it).Good luck.
there are so many variables that go into your cost its impossible to tell you. the best way to keep your cost down is to buy a car you only need liability on if possible and to be placed on your parents policy. this way you get all the discounts they are getting. ( home owner, good credit, multi car, multi policy, etc) getting a discount for grades depends on the company, some do this some don't. Source(s): Agent
you can get driver education and also if you get an older car you don't need to insure it comprehensively, getting a liability only policy will reduce costs. To know a precise price just get quotes from the online comparison sites they are all over.Don't buy from the first insurer but get many quotes instead till you find proper prices. drivers ed can dramatically lower your insurance.
