A sentence that describes the beauty of a woman…..?
I have encountered a sentence that describes the beauty of a woman:
"I will say this for Greg: he knew his women. Jane was stunning. Besides going in and out – and then some – in all the right places, she had the most vivid blue eyes, hair the colour of late summer straw, skin that shone with health and a soft, sibilant voice that seemed to enfold you in a secret cocoon, as if you and she were the only people in the world." And Jane is a spy…..
I can't catch the first part of the sentence: "Besides going in and out – and then some – in all the right places…" What does it mean by saying this…?

It means that she had the ideal classic figure — what can be described as an "hour glass figure". But she wasn't just the standard size: she had voluptuous curves — extra large breasts, extra large hips. This is the meaning of "and then some", which means "plus something more".
It means that she is very curvaceous — going out at the chest and hips, and going in at the waist. Some people call it an "hourglass" figure, or a figure eight "8".
Besides going in and out – and then some – in all the right places"talking about her silhouette, hour glass figure.very curvaceous body
