A Q. about Birth control, Acne, Pharmasist, and Doc.s…?

My Doc. is trying to get me to try the "equvalent" to Ortho Tryclin Low – loestrn 24.
In the first place i didnt ask for OTC-LO, i asked for just Ortho tryclin…but i guess he somhow knows whats better for me? is it possible that i need a smaller dosage because im a very petite lady?… anywho, i told him that the main reason i want to be on BC is because of acne, sure not to prego too, but i use condoms anyhow. .. buT i read online that Loestine can CaUsE acne! as one of its symptoms, why would he perscribe this to me? are these people iddiots or reallly dont care?
about the pharmasist, she says the ingredients are similar, but diff… and said that the name brand are just much too expensive…

ill be honest, i dont think i care about the $, i want what will actually helP not make my skin worse.
why would these doc. and pharmasits perscribe me all this crap (just b4 hand i was on Aviane) instead of just being frwd and saying hey, what you want is going to cost you. it seems like they are just trying to get me to buy their "equivalent" crap so they dont hold on to it and it expires and they dont make anything off it…m i wrong here?

anywho, if your wondering why i even took the Loestrine if i didnt want them, its because i didnt knwo what the heck they were giving me and didnt have a chance to research it until after. 75% of what i read about it was all neg. feedback.

i want a pill that will help my skin, not kILL my sexdrive or make me feel like im on my period when im not (no heavy spotting). advice?
